April
Another lengthy lapse, we shall continue with the wrap up of 2009. Only two more months to go before another year begins, so I better get busy!!
April was filled with adventure! Ashton & I went to Magic Mountain with our good friends, Lindsay & her sister, Katie. Ashton was a bit too small for many of the rides, but she was happy with what she did get to go on. Katie was gracious enough to endure some of the little rides as Ashton's companion, so that opened up a few more options. The 'favorite' was of course, the airplanes & the carousel. We can never seem to walk past a carousel without hoping on for a ride.

With Lindsay's help, I also hosted the April coffee for our 09A spouses. We made it into a 'surprise' baby shower for our friend, Nikki, who was expecting their 5th child. Everyone had a great time & Nikki was certainly surprised ~ so mission accomplished!!

The middle of the month also brought our first visitor! David flew out for a long weekend, and we showed him some of the southern California sights - including Malibu & Santa Monica.
On the 22nd, Brandon and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary! It was very low key since he's been busy with school ~ but, special none-the-less.
We wrapped up with month with the TPS tradition of sabotaging the Senior class's room and painting the parking lot to match the theme for 09A. TPS certainly keeps us busy with all of the planned events, but we wouldn't have it any other way. The kids have a great time getting together, and the adults manage to have a pretty fabulous time, too. These events help to break up the monotony of a busy work week for the guys, and a hectic work week for the moms!!
